Very pretty and colorful sunset photos, but remember, the sun doesn't set, the horizon rises.

I used to live in Nanakuli. Several times while at the 7-11 , we saw the green flash. If you blink, you miss it. Of course conditions have to be right, but it's cool. Never thot to take a pic, having kids is distracting...
I miss Hawaii....

That's because the horizon is constantly rising, or setting depending on what direction one is looking, and a setting sun is a subset of the continual horizon rise. Besides, as accurate as it may be, it sounds silly.
