One heckuva panorama!!

This is a stitched panorama, taken from Hurricane Ridge on August 15, in Olympic National Park, Wa. State. Specs: 7 images, landscape mode, Canon R5, EF 500mmm f/4L II, ISO 320, 1/320 sec at f/20 or f/22. (I'm not sure why I wasn't at ISO 100, with a higher shutter speed and more open f/stop., but I was focused on getting the images aligned as closely as I could.
The mountain in the distance, left side is Mt. Olympus, highest in the range at 7980 feet.
To its left is Mt. Ferry, then Stephen Pk, Mt. Fairchild, Mt. Carnes and Cat Pk.

I think I have the peaks right, but need to confirm it.
File size is 39144x4427. I resized it to 4.4mb from 20.6. I may reprocess it from the raw files, as this is from the jpegs, and perhaps do some sky enhancements as it was, rather blah.... and warm up the white balance. It was shot over an hour after sunrise, so no golden hour. No clouds, and no forest fire smoke, which had followed me from Mt. Hood 5 days prior, and then to the Oregon oceanside, and north to Ruby Beach, where the fog had rolled in, nixing my Milky Way session. I did shoot 2 timelapses with the R5 and 5D IV for 2 hours plus, a few hours before rolling out to get this sunrise. Keep an eye out for some of my Milky Way imagery, as I get the time.

Here's two more. Helps give you, the viewer, a feel for the expansiveness of the scene.

The first is a 4 image stitch, and shows dang near the entire range. I like the light a lot better in this one! 20 minutes earlier helped! The Hurrican Ridge road is seen to the left, and at the far right is the slope just below the road, and the pk lot is 1/2 mile further, elevation 5242'
Specs: Canon R5, RF 24-105 f/4 at 24mm and f/9, 1/125 sec ISO 100

2nd image is a 3 shot stitch of the center left of the first shot. Look close and you'll see that I forgot to focus the lens.... booo!

Specs: same gear, but at 47mm

Nice work with all 3 images. I'll be looking for your Milky Way photos.

Very nice! I did a 7-image stitch of an industrial complex on the Columbia River and put it in the Panorama division a few days ago. I also stitched 7 photos into a composite of Multnomah Falls in Oregon and put it there, too. (Technically it's not a "panorama" because it's not linear, I suppose, but the same process is used to create it.) I won't steal your thread with them, but if you want to see them go here: https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-712878-1.html. (I recommend double enlarge on the long panorama.)

so beautiful. I had such a magnificent stay in Port Angeles two summers in a row and drove up to Hurricane Ridge several times. Olympic NP is so beautiful.
