A few days ago I submitted a post. Here is a link to it:

Our photography instructor wanted each student to submit our best photo for critique. I have a folder labeled "my best photos" and went to that to select one. It was difficult but I came out with one. I shared the ten best photos. I went back to the folder and found ten more that were not good enough to submit in the top ten. I still think each one has merit and wanted to share these ten that didn't make it.
They all look best in download mode.

Excellent as well, as yours predictably are - watch out, we'll think you are pursuing "Art".

These are all very nice, but I think your made the right choices, Brent. I will say the Rosa May photo is very touching and filled with emotion wondering the story behind it.

That is a cemetery in Bodie, California......a ghost town. It's an awesome place for photographers.

I agree with you on Rosa May's grave. I would have not guessed Bodie, but somewhere along the US/Mexico border. This photo really provokes a story. Well done, all of your selections.

Loved the surfer and Rosa. The mood for Rosa was wonderful and the stop action on the surfer I thought was just right. Great photos!

Why does that flash me back to "They all said Louise was not half bad
It was written on the walls and window shades"

I reckon the surfer with haze reduction/clarity applied
would be grouse.

As it is Brent I'm amazed it didn't make the cut.

I like the glasses to... it's kinda busy, but still pleases my eye.
