This guy was super tiny. He was sitting on my hen and chicks plant and I shot him at 1:1 then cropped down about a third.

This spider is preparing to "parachute" transport, by streaming a long silk thread into the air, which will be blown downwind, carrying the spider to a new location.
Not too shabby, Judy. I have never witnessed this activity.

He was so tiny and fast that I kept losing him, so I missed the actual parachuting. Next time I will know to watch him closer.

Thank you. I bought a cheap speedlight that actually has a built in diffuser. I am still learning how to use it since it is fully manual. That is my biggest problem every thing I use to shoot macro is manual, but I sure am learning a lot. Next up a ring light. :-D
