Sometimes it's just nice to have an answer that comes from a real person with personal experience rather than an answer on a page that can't answer any further questions. I will say that I do use Google.

I gave up on Google as a search engine a long time ago. I'm happy with DuckDuckGo

I prefer MS Bing to Google. I too use Duckduckgo fairly often. I've never used Twitter; don't even have an account.

Why do you prefer DuckDuckGo? I’ve heard Brave is also good….

I think the point of the cartoon has to do with laziness, not which search engine is used.

Edit
For instance, when someone is told to Google something they go search the internet for the info. I say it’s no longer just a noun.

Oh, what the heck, just use DogPile.com. It's a search engine that searches search engines. And the results are about as good as the name implies!

Back, not that many years ago, the wisest research source was Britannica.

I've been using Brave ever since I found it.
It's like Firefox without Firefox's problem with to many open tabs.

As for DuckDuckGo.
It doesn't track you like google does.
