I like your shots but a word of advice. NEVER stand on the tracks! Too many people have been hurt or killed while shooting photos on the tracks. If an employee sees you he will most likely call the police and at the least you will be told to leave. You could be issued a citation for trespassing. Railroad tracks are private property. Railroads are not tolerant of trespassers and it makes it hard for the next person on the property. More info at www.oli.org.

Well done! The colors really make these photos pop. Of course the subjects and settings helps, but it is the photographer who makes the photo!

Solid advice for anyone! In this case, though, I had permission and was accompanied by a railroad employee. This spring switch was temporarily out of service for some work on the points.
