Not only that, but many people especially Democrats are deeply misinformed about the severity of the v***s for the average infected person. In December, a Brookings Institution poll asked, “What percentage of people who have been infected by the c****av***s needed to be hospitalized?”

The correct answer is not precisely known, but it is highly likely to be between 1% and 5% according to the best available estimates, and it is unlikely to be much higher or lower.

Less than one in five U.S. adults (18%) give a correct answer of between 1 and 5%. Many adults (35%) say that at least half of infected people need hospitalization. If that were true, the millions of resulting patients would have overwhelmed hospitals throughout the p******c.

Democrats are much more likely than Republicans to overestimate this harm. Forty-one percent of Democrats and 28% of Republicans answered that half or more of those infected by C****-** need to be hospitalized. Republicans were also far more likely to get the correct answer, with 26% correctly identifying the risk compared to just 10% of Democrats.

Thank you my point exactly this is way overblown, the numbers don’t add up to the narrative that is being shoved down everyone’s throat. 👍🏾

There are 684,000 people who would disagree with your s**mdemic assessment, if they were still alive and able to disagree.

More than 68,000 in your own state.

You have devolved into a truly horrible person. At one time you were fairly reasonable. That time is long gone.

At 640,000 students, 1% is 6400 students. So, talk it down all you want, that's still a lot of kids. Thanks to parents being v******ted, social distancing and masking, the school district has been able to keep it this low.

Of those 6400, how many ended up in the hospital?

Nope. The v******ted pass it on too. Social distancing, masking and basic hygeine helps alleviate it.

A small percentage, Rose, because the v*****e DOES prevent individuals from catching C***d. When they say it is 90% effective, or wh**ever percentage, the mean that there will be some breakthrough infections, so, to a point I agree with you. By and large, however, the great majority of v******ted people will not pass on the v***s.

Not true and the number of v******ted passing it on is growing. That is unlike the MMR, smallpox and polio v*****es
