The degree to which an infected person is contagious depends on how much v***s they have and for how long.
The Delta variant is so contagious because it causes v***l loads that are 1000 times higher than were caused by the original strain of C***d.
In people who get symptomatic C***d, the initial v***l levels are similar in the v******ted and the unv******ted.
However the v******ted are able to clear the v***s more quickly, and their v***l levels decline much more rapidly, compared to the unv******ted.
