I think I finally got the light the way I wanted it inside the old wooden wine crate. I may look for new subjects, but feel like it's starting to look like what I visioned. I've included a vertical and a horizontal format of my two favorites.
A nice treatment. I believe I prefer the second photo--it gives the eye more room to wander, and the oak leaves, or the greyish ones, are in much sharper focus. I like the feel.

I like the vertical!! I like the composition on this one better as it more fully fills the space. The lighting is better in the vertical especially on the leaves in the upper corner but is a little strong on the berries. You might want to consider a diffuser or bouncing the flash. Very will done and I look forward to more!!!

They both have merit, Vicki. The horizontal image is the one I like better. It just seems easier to look at to me, composition-wise. Is that a word?
You have a "feel" for this, Vicki. #2 is my pick.
Beautiful Vicki. I like the first one
I see a more dramatic light in the second one but both are nice shots.
Beautiful images Vicki - well done!
I am enjoying your box photos--nice again.
Yes, I also like this lighting better. Not as harsh and with a bit of an antique feel. Very well done, as usual.
