I have a pear tree in my backyard, and the pears have begun to fall. Except there are no pears to be found on the ground. I suspected raccoons or squirrels, but I spotted the culprit this afternoon. A few shots of the feeding frenzy, and one final when she saw me.

I’ve had a couple. They’re pretty good.

Great catch. The last shot shows a very satisfied doe.

Thanks. I watched her eat about 5-6. I hope she keeps coming back.

It generally takes all day for a deer to throw a pear at another deer 💯💯💯💯

You certainly can't blame them; pears are yummy.

Nice series. My son was putting birdseed on the lawn, but then he noticed cats hanging around. Bird feeders attract bears.

oh these shots are wonderful of the pear thief...you caught her in the act...excellent job.
the squirrels eat ours...take one bite and throw them on the ground...maybe the deer
finish them up.

She was eating the whole thing, including a little twig that was attached. It sure saves me a lot of cleanup work.
