Mailing calendars

How do those of you that make calendars for family and friends mail them? I have been only sending desktop, and this year am doing some wall calendars. Thanks

An artist friend made and mailed calendars for several years. He put them in a similar size envelope along with a same size piece of cardboard. Mine always arrived in perfect condition.

Last year I sent several by USPS parcel post. It ran approx. $7 each. Per the Post Office, because of the spiral wire.

Yeah, the desktop has the spiral too. Not sure what difference that makes, and they averaged about $5.

I place my calendars between two sheets of cardboard and put it in an envelope.

I have been sending out 12 month 8.5x11 calendars by USPS for 25 years. Place in Teflon shipping envelope and never had problems. Ship about 100 per year.

I use Costco to make the calendars (cards, etc.) and have them "Drop Ship" them to friends/relatives.
Very high quality, reasonable cost, and easy to use. NEVER ANY issues.

That's how I send large things. Weight and distance affect price. Also, a square envelope can cost more to send.
