Originally an acronym, Chicken & Lettuce Under Bacon. Had a heavier meal planned, but wasn't up to eating it. Had all the sandwich ingredients, but Flashback to childhood when Grandfather read me the funnies, Dagwood whispered in my ear. An extra excellent slice of Brioche bread, Tomato, Swiss, etc. Dagwood whispered again, "Good try, you'll do better next time." For one shot I accidentally grabbed the wrong camera, the D810 with AF Micro Nikkor 105 1:2.8 D, the other is from the D3 with AF S Nikkor 24 84 1:3.5 4.5 G. Can you tell which is which? Further, which one is hers?

I'll take a WAG and say the first on is for her. I'm not sure Dagwood would be happy with the second one, maybe if you added some onion, another layer of cheese and maybe peanut butter?

Right on both! Another acronym for you. What does G.O.L.F stand for?

Nah! There are a bunch of them about the game - my deceased Mother in Law, an avid and good practitioner of the game always said it was from earliest days "Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden. Now relegated to Urban Legend with many less credible (PC) newer ones suggested.

This is the kind of sandwich that just won't take the Backseat! Well prepared and photographed... AND Tasty, I'm sure!

As to camera lens combo? Without looking at the EXIF data, that would be a toss-up for me! They both look good!

My food images rarely go below a 70mm angle of view (usually, 50mm on my APS-C Nikon body - 35mm on my M43). In a Restaurant situation, I will use a phone sometimes for convenience, or a 19mm lens (38mm view) on my M43.

They are both great pictures. I do like the angle of the second one better. I like the toothpicks in the first sandwich, just because I like it in a restaurant when you get those plastic swords!

Thank you! Ah, the plastic Swords! Memories of little boys sword fighting at the restaurant table!
