Just curious to know whether anyone has experience with Neewer photo equipment. Having perused their web site, I find their tripods, gimbals, ball heads etc to be rather less expensive so was wondering about quality of their products. Any experience? Satisfied customer - yes/no?

I have two of their speedlight-type flashes, two sets of their flash triggers, a ring-light, a macro focusing rail and one of those cubical nylon pop-up "light studio" things you use to do product photography. I can't remember what it's really called. I have no reservations about buying Neewer products, possibly because I'm just doing it for fun so I don't want to spend a lot on my gear.

I really like the flashes and the flash triggers. The ring-light is OK, but I would get a better one next time. The macro focusing rail isn't very accurate but is sturdy enough and suits my purposes perfectly. The pop-up light studio is very handy. Other than the ring-light, I would buy the other items again if I needed them. I always consider Neewer products if they offer something I'm looking for.

Yes, I am a satisfied customer.

I've been using Neewer products for about as long as they have been around, roughly 10 years, and have not had any problems with them. Many of my photo accessories are Neewer products, and as long as you take care of them, they should continue to work for you. They're not the best money can buy but, they are good products for the money, and a good way to save money. Yes, I am a satisfied customer.

I have been very satisfied with their products.
I bought one of their tripod and it is rock solid but it is a bit on the heavy side.

They make reasonable products at a modest price. I prefer other brands for my equipment.
It is the same with most products. Folks buy what they can afford.
