I didn't realize that contrast would make that much of a difference and after doing a lot of work with contrast setting on some photos I see that it does look pretty good. I guess what I wanted to get across is there is a happy medium with contrast. What I do in Photoshop is take the contrast all the way down or to the left, then a little at a time move to the right slowly and when I get the perfect contrast bam I stop. It also helps with a photo being sharp or sharper when it's not needed. Especially when the sharpness is right in the camera.
