Our old family tradition. Monday was Hamburgers, Tater Tots, and Green Peas. Heavy cooking on the week end, visits to Grandparents, guests, restaurants, etc. The end of the first school day of the week. With the kids grown and long on their own, rarely frozen peas, Avocado, tomato and red onion salad - dressing of choice. I'd wager I'm not the only one who likes a Tater Tot now and then, do you recall, no calories if off a Kid's plate! Could be a far worse addiction, think Cheetos and orange fingers!
Now, Iām going to have to buy some tots next time I go to the store... love the photo of that salad!

Yeah, I always have some in the freezer, not often served. When in the mood, they are good. The salad does well with an Italian, a Vinaigrette, or Greek style dressing. My wife likes it with Blue Cheese, but she'll put that on nearly anything.
Well done ! Not the burgher but the set and dinner combo.Quick and easy after a long weekend of food and work
Thanks

Thanks! We are downsizing burgers, the dogs don't need the leftovers. Looking at the plated version, that is Bacon, not blood you see through a hole in the Swiss cheese. Not attractive!

Thank you! The nice thing about the Tots is that I don't have to clean the deep fryer and basket!

Agony to be so far from a dish like that. I would even be in heaven with that salad

Looks delicious and the photos are very nice! My only dislike would be all that raw onion in the salad. Instead of Tots, we use Crowns. They are a little smaller and crisp up very nice in the air fryer!

Thanks very much! Just plain weekday fare!

Thank you! We have a very good friend who we can't serve onions either. Happenstance we had the Tots, I go back and forth between them and the Crowns. I'm old tech, so either go in the oven.
Looks delicious. I'm with your wife/ LOVE blue cheese dressing and I could sit down with a spoon and eat a whole pound of crumbled blue cheese all by itself! I know, but crazy is not bad. I tried sanity...hated it!
OOPS, Edit: Great photos!

Thank you! I like blue Cheese as an Hors d'oeuvre or in dressing, just not on THAT salad!
