Sometimes I don't have to go far to get something decent. Things from my yard and my neighbor's whose snapdragons have been seeding themselves and coming back every year like perennials.

Lovely shots. The ornamental grass with the plumes looks like Zebra Grass. I had it in my yard in Tn. If you pick the plumes at that stage, put them inside, in a vase and let them dry, they will curl and make a beautiful arrangement, Spray them with hair spray or clear spray paint and they will not shed. Add a few artificial twigs of color and you have a beautiful floral arrangement. You may also spray with colored paint for a pretty pink, yellow, whatever.

The last several weeks, I have been sitting nearby and looking at them - and thinking about an arrangement! Thanks for reading my mind! My neighbor has about thirty feet of them by her shoreline and said take as many as I wanted. Well, the roots were all tangled and thick as pencils. Took me about a half hour to get four out. That was five years ago. Now, they've been growing beautifully for the past three years.
