Several Birds and a bluejay for Tinyman

The jay was very skittish. Kept flying away. Finally, I got some shots through high grass. The others birds were eating all they could get. I have a place in the middle of a farm area and a half block from a lake. I hear a lot of birds, but they stay well-hidden. So that explains the sparrows. I always see something a little more exciting when I am in the lake for a swim with no camera. Hear birds everywhere. See them? They sure stay deep in the bushes and trees. The easiest ones for me to find are the turkey vultures. They must be getting ready for me or something....

Nice set, Joe. Bluejays can be tough to photograph.

....keep moving Joe, stand in one place for too long and you get their attention! These are nice crisp shots and your Jays are way more attractive than our two western varieties. A swim in a nearby lake sounds like a fine thing!

Nice shots of the birds...love the blue jay. Sounds like a great place to shoot. The Turkey vultures just want to pose for you, joe!
