This has been a wonder year here on Mushrush Road. As I was walking through the hay fields the other day I was amazed at the proliferation of milk weeds growing. Milk weeds are not unusual here in Western Pa. but the amount and health of the plants are. Now the pictures here are in a field where a first crop of hay has already been taken. I am long of tooth but I have never seen anything like what I see here. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.I would estimate about a couple of acres of plants and the Monarch butterflies are are very happy. Then to add to the sight was a lone butterfly bush among the larger leaf plants.
all nice but I LOVED the caterpiller
Interesting series of photographs, Spike.
