Pictures can bring memories. This is Belt Butte. In the 1020's my father grew up in it's shadow on a farm a few miles from Belt, Montana. One day while we were driving from Great Falls to my uncle's ranch to go hunting he told of the fun kids had taking tires to the top and rolling them down, watching them fly when they hit the belt of rocks. According to him the brush was full of old tires, or were 50 years before he told me the story. The butte brought back memories of childhood to him. The picture brings back memories of Dad to me.
That sounds like fun to me as long as I didn’t have to take the tire back up.
