I enjoy a variety of trees in all seasons and would enjoy seeing your tree images.

Sadly Karen, the tree in your number 2 and 4 of your trees, is no longer there at Huntington beach. It was cut down last year, it was a beauty though.

I love trees in any season and although I don't post many of my photos, I just had to share some of my favourite trees with everyone, from Ohio, New York, Kentucky to Wales to England to Austria.

The wide shots are crops of a larger image, but I hate the fact that people steal images on the internet, so I am keeping back other parts of the whole scene, in case I need to take someone to court one of these days. This way I can prove the image was mine, since I have the whole image.

Here are a few more of my photos and of course, all images are copyrighted by me and no use whatsoever is allowed. That's just for any of the baddies that might be looking in our our forum.

I thought I'd let you see what trees look like to birds, also. The world takes on an entirely different perspective from the air. I was a flight instructor for many years and have seen some beautiful lighting effects from the cockpit, looking straight down. Hope you all enjoy some of my work. Thanks for starting this section Karen.

By the way, trees from the air look great with and with out light to create a shadow, as you can see here.

All pandemic photos. We hiked a different local park every week and loved seeing the seasonal changes, even here.

I really like the second one, p.2.

Nice captures. I especially like #3, the three in the snow. Ethereal.

Thanks for posting. I always enjoy seeing trees like that when hiking in the west.

In case you meant my trees, and it was number four, Since number three was in the snow but only one tree and you mentioned three, well that was a fun experiment. I used a slow shutter to get motion blur, purposely and then used a flash in the snow storm to try and get some flakes to freeze in the image. I shot in the evening for a more blue light from the ambient light and I also focused in the middle of the entire image, not on the trees in the background, so as to hopefully get a snow flake or two in focus with the flash. Still have to work out the details to acheive what I was after. I'm pleased you liked it.
