Neighborhood Gato

This cat belonged to a neighbor but my wife and I had never seen it. About a year ago it started coming onto our property just looking around and occasionally into the house when we left a door open for fresh air. The neighbors call it Cheddar, my wife calls it Butterscotch and I just call it Gato. On one of its excursions into our yard a couple of days ago saw it laying down under our avocado tree. As I had the camera with me looking for insects I decided to take its portrait. It allowed me just one photograph and then, as if saying, that is enough from you, walked off.
