I had a fairly unsuccessful backpack trip to Northern CA this summer. We had been planning a 2 week backpack to the southern Sierra that got allied off last year due to covid and this year do to permit problems. We switched plans and went to the Marble Mountain Wilderness and Russian Wilderness. We were also going to continue the backpack into the Trinity Alps but were chased out (literally) by wildfires (this after getting a case of heat exhaustion on day 1).
Here's an image of most of the lakes that we visited on the Marble Mountain part of the hike. Image 1 is Upper Wright Lake, 2 is of Deep Lake (where we camped on night one), 3 is of the wonderfully named Man Eaten Lake (off of the Pacific Crest Trail) and 4 is an unnamed body of water that we hiked past. Next we'll see lakes from the second half of the trip (Russian Wilderness).
β¦these are quite niceβ¦!

In spite of some difficulties, you captured some very nice images of lakes. I especially like the last image, wilderness.
First one is very appealing πππ
