Bought a Nikon P7100 for happy snap and street photography in London during the summer. Lotsa fun. Pocketable too. One of the features I liked was being able to hold camera above the crowds and look into an angled screen. Some examples on page 113 of Red is Red. I would like to add this feature to my Fuji Finepro 5. There is an ANGLE FINDER attachment. Will fit most cameras. Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't understand the question.

Assuming that "Red is Red" is a book, what is the full title & author?
I have never heard of a book with that title, nor do I know what you mean by "Angle finder attachment."
Trying to read between the lines, I wonder if you are referring to an articulated LCD screen that some cameras have.
I searched for Fuji Finepro 5 - there's not one to be found via Google, what is the correct name and model of your camera please?

EstherP is right. I know that the 60D comes with an articulating LCD and this is one of it's great functions but if the Fuji doesn't come with an articulating screen there's no way to 'add' one. I don't know about any angle finder attachments either.

I have a Nikon angle finder that I use with my Nikon DSLR. It is useful but the view is more like the view through the viewfinder than an lcd screen on the camera back. I use it especially for low angle shots, macros. (My knees aren't as young as they used to be)
I am not familiar with your camera but other accessory manufacturers make them to fit a variety of cameras. You have to get one that will fit the eyepiece of your viewfinder and the independent manufacturers would be the source for a proper fit.

Ah, Sheila, the quarter dropped!
Yes, I know about that type, Olympus also sells them. From what I understand they are attached to the viewfinder, and do help taking pictures from awkward angles, but I doubt very much that you could hold the camera overhead - away from your eye - and still see what you want to take the picture of.
I'm attaching an image of the Olympus angle viewfinder.

Angle Viewfinder
We bought a Canon S3 IS just so we can use swivel screen,ie overhead shots of crowds etc.

Found it, Jerry, thanks.
However, I don't see a reference (in either text or images) to an angle viewfinder.
OK, Genius (modest or not) - your turn: please state your question more specifically with correct information if you would like us to offer help.

I think when you refer to an "Angle Finder" these are usually finders which fit into the optical view finder and will allow you to change the angle of the viewfinder from which you can view the subject. I'm guessing the reference is to the Fuji Finepix S5 Pro which was the last of the series, made by Nikon with Fuji's sensor and software. They take Nikon lenses and (probably) other accessories such as Angle Finders which fit on the view finder. Useful for 'close to the ground' stuff, but of limited value otherwise.
Thanx troops... Device is listed as an Angle Finder. The one illustrated here has adaptors included that will fit most brands. Just was such a useful thing to be able to alter the stand point view by simply swivelling the point of view. For example the old 35mm b&W snap of Lady Di's cortege I had to rely on pot luck whereas for Harry and Kate shot I could get over the heads of the crowd. Apologies for not making my question clearer. Thanx again.
