That was lunch yesterday, clams, shrimp, fish and baby squid 🦑

Seafood Arroz Caldoso is a dish which originated in Spain. It literally means "brothy rice" and consists of broth (bouillon) and rice with diverse flavourings and extra ingredients. The recipe is quite varied depending in which region of the Iberian peninsula it is prepared. Variations of this dish range from a recipe quite similar to Italian risotto, to a rice soup, to a dish that could be mistaken for paella.

Enjoy

Wonderful dish, fine photo! Have heard it described as Paella Soup, obviously more than that. I suspect the fish (?) bouillon is critical. Any Chorizo?

No chorizo in this particular dish, but you can add to the arroz caldoso anything that you would like. I have to be very simple with cooking because she has a lots of intolerance to spicy food and more .....

All the best !

Much better than your first entry a very very delicious dish in the winter we make it most often with shrimp or chicken. Starting with sofrito and build flavors from there. My family loves the dinner.

Thank you Ernesto

We cooked the sofrito for hours. Sofrito add a great flavor to any dish.

Thank you Papa.
