I found a place yesterday to practice BIF skills, my local RF club aerodrome. Went to see if anyone was flying and a few souls who braved the heat, the humidity and the mighty hot sun to get some practice in. Some fantastic RC aircraft and skills shown. Totally different than a full scale airshow where you're quite some distance from the aircraft, you're right up close with these speed little demons, especially the jet, gives you great practice at speeding birds. And of course some of the fans decided to cross the filed during flights, guess better crowd control was needed....
If you have an RC club near, head on over in you want practice at photographing very fast objects, especially the little jets....I will be going back for more and more practice....
Best in dl or ddl. Cheers.
Great idea and photos
Thanks
A bunch of turkeys in every crowd I suppose. Great shots.

When I taught photography 101 I had my students stand a few feet off the road and shoot cars as they came by.
Nice - and you got birds walking, too. : )

I have done that a few times. It's great practice and I love RC aircraft.
