I don't know why I always forget about the macro section here. I posted somewhere else first before remembering this forum.
I just bought my first macro lens. It's used, but appears to be in good shape. Haven't had the opportunity to practice much, but I did shoot a few things the other day.
Here are a few of my shots taken with Nikkor macro lens, 55mm.
I don't know my settings because I didn't write them down and they aren't recorded by my camera :(

Very delicate capture, especially image #2.
Do not hesitate to do a bit of "housekeeping" in your field-of-view, prior to image capture. I would have clipped-off & removed the orange petal lower right, which I find distracting, and in front of your subject.
Your seed subject is a good example of why I carry tweezers in my macro bag. Tweezers allow moving the delicate seed & "parachute" to a less busy background, like larger petals. I have also used tweezers to remove small sticks, sand grains, and the like, from the top of field mushrooms, etc.
I also own a Nikkor 55-mm f/3.5 macro lens, purchased 40-years ago. It came with a PK-2 (or an M2) extension tube, which is required to obtain 1:1 magnification.
Nice captures. Looks like a super sharp lens. Congratulations on your purchase.
