I have never seen this type of flower before. In the night and morning, it is closed. As the day progresses, it opens in a very gorgeous and elaborate way. Can anyone identify the flower?
Here in GA, we call this a passion flower. Bees and butterflies really enjoy it. And the flower, with or without insects, is very photogenic. Blossoms in August-September.

Passion flower. Here in Central Texas, I have them blooming all summer. Butterflies love them. They have the most intoxicating smell of any flower I know. Hence, its name. :>) They ARE very invasive however.
