Nude no. 009
Kasia again, looking so confident and happy with herself. Both of which she was in spades. Photographed in the stairwell outside of my studio in the Hide House in Milwaukee.
Some parts appear blurry but I like the shot.

I used a soft focus filter ( a uv filter with hand lotion finely smeared onto it). Much cheaper than a store bought SF filter, infinitely adjustable and it goes back to a uv filter when you’re finished.

I must have cleaned off where her face is because her eyes look fairly sharp??
WirtzWorld, this photo is from another time. Jack Kerouac and the Beat-Generation removed tops. Kasia would be a meal in Burrough's novel, Naked Lunch. Her description would be the subject of one of the last major literary censorship. A great image as this 009 kindles memories. In the 40s-50s religion thru the government suppressed the visual and spoken on paper... censorship was the rule.

Dpullum: the original file shows bright pastel green walls and several other elements that didn’t work, so I removed them in pp. I think the softness, desaturation and sepia do indeed take it to another era.
Thanks for all of your insightful comments. Please continue them.
Appreciate your fine work John.
