Note, I was born and raised just a few miles from Auburn but have been an Alabama fan since the 2nd season the Bear coached there.

Good for you, Kilroy! When we moved to Alabama (27 years ago) we were told we had to pick a team in college football. One of our five daughters chose to go to Auburn. Well as we were sending lots of money there we chose Auburn. Waaar Eagle! Another daughter married a die hard Alabama fan. When I asked if he would cheer for Auburn in all but the iron bowl he vehemently denied that he would. I said I would and his response was, “that’s because you’re a girl and you don’t know any better!” Now we have two grandkids at Alabama so we still cheer for both teams except that one big game. Waaaar Eagle and Roll Tide Roll! (And we really do love that son in law!)
