In order to escape the constant smoke in the foothills, I spent last week in Fort Bragg California. For the most part this worked but there was a high layer of smoke on a couple of days and a fair amount of fog. This smoke did make for a couple of interesting sunsets which this series of images chronicle. I'll be posting other images in the coming days of the area around Fort Bragg. All questions, comments and suggestions are welcome.

Cool sun shots. It’s a shame you weren’t lucky enough to have a boat or some other object in the foreground to offer scale and additional interest.

Hi Tomfl101
Thanks for checking out the sunset images and for the comment. There is a small buoy in the wider angle shot (8th image), but in the other shots taken at 1000mm it is hard to find many objects in the right location other than the occasional bird that will fly by.

Hi kpsk_sony
Thanks for viewing the sunset images and for the comment. I didn't notice much steam but there was a lot of Fog around while I was there. As the weather changes from day to day the sunsets can vary a lot.
