Imperial Point is at 8800 feet, about 1000 feet above the Grand Canyon Lodge on the North rim. In the distance is the Kaibab Plateau.

Nicely done. Beautiful scene. I've been to so many places in the lower 48, but for some reason I've never made it to the Grand Canyon. :-(

Keep Grand Canyon NP on your list to visit. It will give you an unforgettable experience. Just my opinion but the South Rim offers the more interesting views.

The "Mighty Five" in Utah will impress you beyond words. Allot plenty of time for visiting each one.
