Hi, I have been training, breeding, field trialing and hunting English Springer Spaniels for many years now. One dog we had injured himself in the field, and was unable to compete any longer at two years old. He was a sweet heart of a dog, so our family got a new house guest / companion. Sunny lived a full life with a disabling injury that would not allow him to run. He would be walking, turn around, look at his hind quarter and growl at it loudly. He put up with it, and we loved him dearly. When I saw this challenge to be creative with your pets picture, I went through ours and came across one of Sunny laying in the leaves in our backyard during the fall. He just loved the fall and his favorite time was to just play and lay around in the piles of leaves we would rake up. It was I nice picture, but thought I might make more out of it for the challenge. So I doctored it on DxO, and made it look more like a painting. I think the submission renders a great memory for us, and one picture that I will be taking down to our local framing shop, and have the photo put it on canvas so it looks like a painting............Bad Dog

It's amazing how dogs adapt to the loss of use of a limb

I’m a Brittany guy myself but love all dogs, especially the sporting breeds. A beautiful image and I think you’ll love the results when printed on canvas. Thanks for sharing.
