Can any of you recommend a site to download free fonts that can be used in Photoshop? Preferably a site you have personally used. Thank you.
Well, for openers, the fonts you already have on your system (Windows, I don't know about Mac) can be used in PS/PSE.
There are many sites on the 'net from where you can download free fonts. Just Google "Free fonts". There are a couple of different formats, but if you stick to .ttf they should all work.
Now, as to the type of font to use, that's very much a matter of personal preference and trying it out.
For example, I very much like a font called HWStone for my scrapbooking in PSE, as it reminds me of handwriting.
My friend prefers a font that looks like newspaper print.

I usually download fonts from these sites.
http://www.dafont.com/http://www.1001freefonts.com/Just remember that Photoshop uses the fonts installed in your OS Fonts folder. If you add too many fonts to this folder, you may slow down Photoshop. Fortunately, if you have Windows XP, you can use fonts without permanently installing them. In Windows 7 Home Premium edition this option was disabled by Microsoft, but there is a workaround -- use a font viewer. I believe this option is still available in the other editions of Windows 7 provided you have downloaded Windows XP Virtual Mode.
