These images of the "Crown of the Continent" show that, even if the sky is overcast and cloudy, beauty and grandeur still abound. I don't usually post a "series" of shots, choosing instead to post 1 that I particularly like. But having shot over 200 images on this little outing, I thought I'd break with tradition and add a couple more that I feel represent the majesty of this gift from God.
In the 3rd image, the Logan Visitor Center is visible in the middle of the lower 1/3 of the image - gives some perspective on the size of Logan Peak! And in #4, the peak in the far distance was the model for the Paramount Pictures logo ... Enjoy!
The Big Sky is always great, but mostly better with clouds. A very fine set. Haven't made it to Glacier yet, maybe this year.
Tommy, you were blessed with dramatic clouds and took good advantage of the blessing.
