Not to nitpick my phone auto correct takes over. My humble apologies to you and you obviously have more free time then I do. I hope and pray my phone adding an "E" is your biggest problem in life. They do have private messages that could have handled this

Actually, there are lots of companies with Tameron in their name, just none, that I know of, who make lenses.
It was a typo once and my auto correct picked it up. I've posted about my 10-24 Tamron several times with same incorrect spelling. I'll have to watch this now until I figure out how to eliminate bad one

I checked spell check on 3 different cell phones, three different tablets, 2 lap tops and 1 desk top and not a single one changed Tamron to Tameron. Tameron was offered as a suggestion by each editor. I'm not saying your phone's editor isn't changing Tamron to Tameron, but I am saying it's something you can prevent from happening real easy.
Just remember, on social media such as UHH, it's all about the conversation; without which it's just texting.

Probably not in your price range but my choice is the Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF sharper than the 200-500mm or the Sigma 150-600mm S. I own all 3 and my preference for wildlife is the PF mounted on the D850 or D500 and will take a 1.4 telly extender without a problem.
The Nikkor 500 f/5.6E Pf is an excellent lens, especially for $3500. Being a prime, one would expect it to be sharper than the Sigma 150-600 zoom lenses which cost anywhere from about a quarter to less than half that of the Nikon lens. But, is it $2000 sharper than the Sigma Sport? Yes, it is indeed sharper, but it you're not super cropping or pixel peeping, it's not that big a difference.
I use to own a Nikkor 500 f/5.6E Pf but I sold it for a couple of reasons. A 500mm prime is pretty much a one act pony, not versatile at all, and, I got a really good deal when I acquired the lens, and sold it for a small profit.
You are correct; my 500 Pf coupled with my TC14E III worked quite well on my D500 and D850.

Your spell checker learns new and different words.. very helpful for hobbies with different words.. if you read my post I said I miss spelled it once and now finishes with or correct it from the correct spelling. On the top of keyboard It suggest different words.you mean in all those devices none do what my last three phones do?
You have that much free time to check all your devices just to prove me wrong. What a loser

G2
Good point. As I've stated, I have had the Tammy G2 since it's release. I only paid $1100, a superb bargain it was! But I use my 500 F4 II far more. Plus, it works well with both Extenders. The G2 does also, after a fashion, but with no AF.
Nikon is constant aperture for full zoom range. That was the deciding factor for me.
I wanted the Nikon 200-500 since it was introduced. I finally purchased earlier this year. I tried carrying it, using a handle on the L bracket and using it on a tri-pod. I finally chose a new tri-pod designed for video. This way, I could swing the camera around quicker to follow the wildlife. The clarity of the shots is great. I made a wonderful choice. You won't be disappointed.

I have the Nikon 200-500 f5.6 and took it to Africa. Great sharp and great color lens. You should always stay with a native lens with the camera body.

I disagree. I'm 100% satisfied with my Tamron 150-600 G2 and 24-70 F/2.8 G2. Canon's 100-400 II costs a lot more than the 150-600, as does their 24-70 to the Tamron. Lens build, sharpness, IQ is superb on the 24-70....it's done well in online tests. Same goes for the Tammy...and Sigma Sport, but it's heavier and costs a lot more than the G2.
There's numerous discussions comparing the Nikon with third party lenses. Here's one:
https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4086160Then, there's my two Rokinon's, which I use for astrophotography. Both are well known as among the best available, and at a fraction of the cost of camera mfr's lenses.
I have both of those lenses and the Nikon one is sharper I think and better color. And that is why I took the Nikon one to Africa.
