Trying to use photoshop enhance. Lightroom will not send to raw. In photoshop it first said that I was not connected to internet then it was OK. When I import direct it froze up my computer and control alt del would even unfreeze, had to make a hard shutdown. Was hoping to use super resolution (enhance) . worked once but was very nosy. Second time it locked the computer.. Was hoping it would be equivalent to Topaz gigapixel. It looks like it is is much more awkward that Topaz which easily moves a photo from Lightroom and back. Your comments would be greatly appreciated. Windows 10, Latest 32gRAM. Sorry, I was told that I hijacked another discussion on the dame subject and it was suggested I make a new post. Please forgive me for my sins...

Locking the computer sounds like a problem in the new feature of newly installed Adobe software. You might get the best help from Adobe Technical Support via a chat that is a feature of your subscription.
When you say LR won't send a RAW to PS, that's typical and remains unchanged for how the process has always worked. The LR edits, even with just an import with no changes, is transformed to another format to PS, such as TIFF, PSD, DNG or even JPEG. The interface of LR to Topaz is the same, an external editor definition inside LR determines the file format set to Topaz.
I don't have the subscription software, but understand the concept. For 'super resolution' what were you trying to accomplish? Did you crop a file down to something relatively small? Or, did you take a 'big' file and try to make it massive? The latter might be a way to overload and crash a computer. But, given the newness of the new feature and Adobe's problems with recent roll-outs, talking to them is probably the best next step.

Any file I have ever sent to Photoshop has gone to the main screen not ACR. Does not matter whether Nef or Dng or processed in develop module. Yes I wish to improve a cropped photo which is what super resolution supposed to do. Kinda messy. Gigapixel is on sale, I might consider that, just hoped I had a similar opportunity already in Photoshop
They have added Enhance to Lightroom. Click on top tab that says photo, go down to enhance and it will open. You can choose super resolution. Hope this helps.
For me Topaz Gigapixel does a better job and has more options than Adobe LR or PS Super Resolution. Usually I am making a poster of an athlete shot at 8,000 iso. Topaz just updated the program late August.
