Sometimes, you're just not on your game and everything you shoot is delete material. That would be me this week. Met up with brother in law and his son and family this week. And the obligatory family photo (I was hoping to sneak out of it this year) It was hot, very humid, harsh light. It ended up being an exercise in trying to use what I'd learned in a few classes - changing backgrounds, portrait work and lots of cloning. Are they great? Nope. But they are better than the originals! Here's original #1 "We want the Lake in the background - it was, but huddling in the shade blocked it.) And its versions

It takes me forever to re-work both originals, but it was good practice. Original #2 Family photos are such fun...
