I really like the color set, because there is so much color in the photos to look at... #2 is a good example of that with the yellow and reddish color popping out in the mountains. Also , the greens in #4 especially, but others shots as well. #6 with the green vegetation and purple flowers, and the last one with the blues, greens, and purple flowers too.
Don't get me wrong, I really liked the B&W images also, they are superb as well, but IMHO, I like and prefer the color set over the B&W set by just a wee margin. Nice job.
With the dog on the rock, definitely better in color!

Yeah, color sings while black and white photos just have the information. The dog in your portrait is looking for the next challenge. Nice set of images, worth the hike I am sure.
