I have a Canon Pixma, model iP6700D that won't work with my iMac with the latest operating system. Any suggestions on how to find a driver that will make it work?
Thanks
Search using Canon Photo Printer Help Line -several choices.
This printer was first released in 2007.
If you are in the US Canon has a program to allow a user to purchase at a discount a product if their device has been made obsolete by an operating system update. Give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
If you can install the software but then find it doesn't work, locate the "exe" file that launches it and right-click on it. A window should pop-up and on it one of the options is "Troubleshoot Compatibility". Select that option and follow the prompts. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't. It's worth a try. If that is unsuccessful you can then uninstall the software using "Programs and Features" in the expanded menu of Windows "Control Panel". I have successfully made some programs work very well that way.

Save yourself some headaches and just buy a new printer, that's what I ended up doing a few months ago.

Can you “right click” an iMac ?
Some of your suggestions do seem to be Windows specific. I’m not a Mac user myself, but maybe some of your ideas can be “translated”.
The OP does specify an iMac if you read what he wrote.
