According to multiple sources including TMobile about 100 million accounts were hacked including SS numbers, addresses, drivers license numbers, etc. Be aware of possible phishing attacks to come in the future. This is the second time.

My question is: why does TMobile have your SS number.

It's too bad that hacking isn't preventable. Imagine a war beginning with the enemy disabling all their opponent's electronics. It would be over before it started.

Look at Soviet and Russian war planes. Many of them are copies of ours. You've seen their space shuttle, right? Quite a coincidence.

Cha ching! I have never been asked to provide an SS number to any cellular or Internet provider. The list of institutions that are entitled to it is quite short.

Thank you for sharing this Ollie. I have a Metropcs phone which is now part of Tmobile. I do not use WiFi on my phone or buy things but my email can be accessed. I need to change passwords.
Thank you again for sharing this.
