A six shot pano, hand held. The wind was blowing hard and the clouds & light were changing so fast that there were lines in the pano after I ran the software. I cloned them out. D3 with AF S 24 85 1: 3.5-4.5 G.

Yes! A beautiful big picture of a refreshing landscape. What makes me smile is the little fence "protecting" in a very small area just a few "construction white stones". High contrasty situation. Really a nice shot.

Thank you very much! Bees! Don't know what the story is, this year many hive groups fenced, some with concrete blocks on the Hive lids. Something must be disturbing them.

Nice quixdraw, almost makes me wish I took landscapes. I think the white stones are bee hives.

OK...I understand...the "white blocks" reflect the IR rays of the sun...this way the hive's inner side remains a bit less hot...and while the blocks are enough heavy, they stay in place even under windy condition...no need to nail/bond/screw them: quick, efficient, affordable!
Hopefully You get an excellent sweet hony. Bon appΓ©tit!

Nice. Yep I can see the prairie dog flats and the hives. Those bees must have to do some long distance foraging. I don't see a flower in sight.

Thank you! Have never asked if the land owner gets paid, gets some honey or pays for pollinators. I'll see if I can find out. When the weather is good, lots of bees on the windshield when you pass one of these communities.

Not one prairie dog in site. They must be camera shy.
