This house is located along the Rogue River just east of Gold Hill Oregon. It probably dates to the period just after the Indian wars and the gold rush in Southern Oregon, however it is not listed as an historical site and I can't verify it's provenance.

It definitely needs some minor repair work. Nice documentary photo.

I think someone has been living there. The chair on the porch, the flag, plastic on a window, the "new" metal roof; might be a get-away for an eccentric old geezer. Great house-character shot.
