Sounds dicey. Yeah, I try to always let prudence dictate the hiking decisions, but sometimes you can't avoid an unfriendly situation. I remember hiking up between two mountains and upon reaching the top of the saddle joining the two, there was a minor thunderstorm on the other side. Fortunately I was well below either summit so hunkered down in my rain gear to wait it out. However, I did place my metal hiking poles a good distance away from me just in case.

I essentially went right for the b&w version, so didn't have a color version to post. However, I played around a little bit this afternoon and made this one. Needs more work but should give an idea of the possibilities. Personally, I'm still liking monochrome as the color in this one just doesn't excite me. But worth pursuing... Thanks CPO.

Yep, went back to the b&w, and the color version is MUCH better!
