Brother Ron and I made another trip to Lacasine Nat. Wildlife Refuge. Here's a sample of what we saw.

Very nice. Is that a turtle above and behind the second one? The leaves are awfully big.

#1 is a subadult Gallinule(Moorhen), #2 is a Gallinule adult, #'s 3 and 4 are Gallinule chicks, and #5 is a Great Blue Heron. Thanks for looking, Shang.

Thanks, Carol. Ron has always liked to take pictures but I got him hooked on wildlife capable DSLRs and lenses and I have created a monster.
