This is a beautiful photo, but I am not too sure about your post-processing comment. Virtual copies give one the capability to experiment without the danger of losing an already nice image.
Glad you reposted, RG wouldn’t let inane comments spoil everyone’s enjoyment. It’s certainly a stunning image - good luck in the competition.
Gorgeous image. 👍
Would you share the shutter speed please.
Absolutely gorgeous! As one who just doesn’t like spending lots of time with post processing this is inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
I'm humbled by those who've spoke graciously about this image.
Equipment used:
Canon M6 / Fotodiox EF to EF-M adapter / Canon 100mm f/2 USM (shot at f/4) / 1/320 sec. / ISO-100 / Cokin "P" Drop-in Filter Mount / Experimental "Fixed" Polarization Filter / Vintage 1970's Velbon Multi-Point Tripod
I'm really amazed at how the yellow leaves created a mass of color. In fact I prob should have slowed the shutter speed down one or two noticed more.
Just to reiterate, ZERO post processing was done to this image. Yet the matted/framed print looks darker because of the dry mounting process which heats up the print board and seals the print to the board. So I don't think it anything was lost while doing the dry mount, it actually looks a tad better and slightly darker.
Again thanks for the comments and support.
