An oasis for those that are hungry, thirsty and in need of a room or fuel, this old time western saloon and grill has it all. Built in 1857, Middlegate is a former Overland Stage stop on the fabled Pony Express route through the Nevada desert. Situated on "Nevada Highway 50, the loneliest highway in America" with no other service for at least fifty miles. They are famous for their hamburgers and Saturday night prime rib, they draw huge crowds from local ranchers, miners, truckers and travelers. They also host crazy events like the Biker BBQ in winter and the Dildo Races in the summer. It is always an enjoyable stop for us returning from California just to see the relics and enjoy a cold one.

Who can identify the 4 door soft top?
These are some really neat shots. Very enjoyable viewing. I bet the owners are glad they don't have to cook on that old wood stove sitting out front.
A really nice set of a unique place that will probably be gone before you know it.
Great set, Jim. The downloads are beautiful. Would love to be there for one of their events, I’m sure a very interesting cast of characters show up.
