Enjoy!
I am marveling at the detail and clarity. The exposure is so good with the white dress that I can still see the texture of the fabric, yet her face is not underexposed. I’d love to know your editing techniques but it would be like asking you to reveal the magician’s secrets.
Craig thank you so much for your very kind words they are truly appreciated!
As for magic secrets? None really, just a methodical workflow from session planning all the way through to the deliverables.
Oh, the dress details are a result of an HDR layer merged with an aggregate of skin & hair thus dynamic range really wasn't an issue. Two independent layers processed separately then merged for the final image.
I use an older version of Photoshop which has served me well. Hope this helps explain Craig.
btw, I also did Ashley's makeup and adjusted illumination to showcase her beautiful facial features.
Again, no magic, just considerable attention to all the fine details.
It kind of helps that I've worked with a considerable number of brides; models; actors; ballerinas; gymnast; yoginis; realtors; corporate officers; etc.
Glad you enjoyed this series Craig...
The client was very happy also, and at the end of the day that's all that matters...
Thank you so much for your very kind words Val... They are truly appreciated especially for my makeup artistry on Ashley! As for nails, if asked I typically recommend plain (no color), or French tips depending on the narrative. btw, gel are far better than acrylic albeit are more pricey.
However it there is an art director in the mix then they make that call.

Thank you for giving me your time for such a great answer. Your note to Val regarding plain nail color is another nugget to tuck away as I like the classic look for posterity.
Thank you for your kind words ikaush... However it is Ashley that is "Perfect!"
She has became a long time friend, colleague and associate...

All the best on your journey Vicky!
Thomas...you, sir, are a marvelous and talented artiste and technician, and an inspiration to me, a moderately accomplished picture taker! I look forward to each of your presentations.
Again thank you for your very kind words flyboy61... They are truly appreciated!
Much of what I've learned has come from being a MUA on so many other team's sessions.
Working with accomplished teams is an awesome way to step up your game!
Besides team camaraderie is always a fabulous adjunct to any session!
Cheers! Thomas
