My sixteen year old grandson and his family went on a safari to Africa. On a visit he brought his pictures and I was blown away. He was using my old Nikon D7000 and a long lens he had bought on his own, These are just a sample of some that I liked. And to think he wanted on his visit for me to teach him. His goal is to become a wild life photographer.

Excellent shots- Good composition, focus is good, each one tells a little story. The kid has a good eye. I wonder if he has read Bryan Peterson's book 'Learning to See Creatively'? It sure does look like it, Congrats to him - he's on his way

They were taken in Kenya. The elephants were taken in Amboseli National Park. As well as the zebras, hippos, and the last bird. The first bird (a Hadada Ibis) and the flying bird (a Marobu Stork) were both found just outside Nairobi. The single-horned Impala was taken in Nairobi National park.
