With fewer and fewer PC's having DVD drives, I wonder if transferring to a thumb drive might be a better move.

With the amount of 8mm movie film I have, the cost is prohibitive. I do however still have the 8mm movie projector that is functional so I can watch the movies if I want, just not sure how well the film has survived the effects of time, despite it being kept fairly well climate controlled.
