Caterpillars! Let's see whatcha got.
A few of my favorites.
Polyphemus Silk Caterpillar - 1:1 or life-size
Queen Caterpillar at 5th Instar - 1:1 or life-size
Gulf Fritillary Caterpillar, 2nd Instar - 3:1 or 3x life-size
Wow! Great shots, all of them. That first one is my favorite. Gives me the creeps and yet is so interesting to look at how it's body is. Probably dandy camoflouge. The focus and colors on that one are amazing!
Love them, not sure what this one is?Jen.

Double WOW! I only hope to one day be half as talented as you! Your work speaks to me.
A few more.
Salt Marsh Moth (Estigmene acrea) Caterpillar - life-size
Longwing Zebra Caterpillar, Early Instar - 2:1 or 2x life-size
White-Line Sphinx Moth Caterpillar (Hales lineata) - life-size

Not bad for a kit lens! If you crop tighter, does image hold acceptable resolution?
Your photo is of a Monarch caterpillar (Danaus plexippus). Adult below.
Not sure how it would print.

Never thought to rotate as he was facing down the milkweed when I took the shot. LOL
Every photograph on this post, regardless of the author, is an absolute masterpiece and you should all be proud of the efforts.

Why would you waste money on a macro lens when you can turn out photographs like this. Amazing job.
